Presbyterian Medical Services specializes in providing medical and other services in rural areas of New Mexico, and has an established infrastructure for providing those services. As the executive agent for the Veteran and Family Support Services program, they provide the direct program services to clients and provide training to the client population, providers, and the community at large. Albuquerque Veterans Administration Medical Center
The Albuquerque medical center is charged with providing medical, mental health, and other services to veterans. They provide program support for the Veteran and Family Support Services, identify veterans and their families that could benefit from the program, and provide consultation and trainings as appropriate to program staff and other providers. The medical center and Presbyterian Medical Services are coordinating the establishment of a televideo connection between the medical center and the program's clinical site. More Info»
New Mexico Department of Veteran Services
The Department of Veteran Services is charged with ensuring New Mexico veterans and their families are provided the support they deserve as a result of military service. The department operates a state-wide network of Veteran Services Officers to assist veterans and family members in accessing state and federal benefits.
